"ALPs Charter School is a school-within-a-school located at Merrill Elementary and Middle School. ALPs provides advanced students in grades 5-8 the opportunity to work in a multi-age setting and study core subjects with their intellectual peers. Students are challenged to discover their full potential while developing their confidence, intelligence, and leadership. We have a very active learning environment where children learn in-depth and at a fast pace. ALPs students are able to join their age peers for music, art, physical education, art and other elective courses as well as for lunch, recess, and after-school extra-curricular activities.
